USCG releasing a Kemp's ridley sea turtle into the Gulf of Mexico

HOUSTON – Seaman David Slingerland, a crewmember of Coast Guard Station Sabine Pass, releases a Kemp’s Ridley sea turtle back into its habitat, off the coast of Sabine Pass, Oct. 18, 2012. Four turtles were released back into their habitat by members of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, the Houston Zoo and the Coast Guard.
