The daughter and son of one of our Graphics Designers here at the Zoo have been attending Camp Zoofari classes. During their class outings on Zoo grounds, the kids have been hearing the periodic Zoo-wide P.A. system announcements of upcoming keeper talks, animal feedings and other activities which may be of interest to our guests. One of the announcements is “Dinosaurs! at the Houston Zoo presented by Orkin all summer long.”
One afternoon, after their class and while with their mom, who was still ‘on-the-clock’ working at her desk, the kids were heard repeating the “Dinosaurs!…” announcement. Those of us who heard it thought it might be fun to take them down to Dinosaurs! Exhibit and videotape them making that same announcement amid the dinosaurs and do something with it.

For those who may be wondering, most of the real P.A. system announcements heard around the Zoo are by Mr. Brian Hill, our Public Information Officer.
